All the things you mention are getting extensive coverage.

They are getting some coverage but in no way is it extensive. News is still reporting that it's illegal immigrants being picked up, and they act like it's the exception that legal immigrants have been deported. Because they only mention one or two high-profile ones. Not the thousands upon thousands of legal immigrants that are detained and being deported that do not have the money or the luck to get picked up by the ACLU so their case can be heard.

Also I'm hard pressed to find any news media that's talking about how immigrants are shifted from the detention facility to detention facility, to actively deny them their day in court to hear why they're being detained. So go ahead show me the extensive coverage because it doesn't exist. The only people who seem to know about what's going on are those who have people who have been arrested by ICE for no reason and everyone else pretends like it must be the exception and an accident because that's how the news media is reporting it.

The occasional government, oh my bad we didn't mean to do that, but most of the people being picked up are legal and documented immigrants because how else would they know where to go get them at. Basic logic says if you're undocumented they don't know where you're at.

I read NYT, WaPo, CNN, Reuters, AP, and other sources daily. Everything you’re talking about is getting extensive coverage.

With respect, you made the initial claim that it’s not, so it’s your burden of proof. I’m not your Google.

I look at those outlets daily, show me one article, just one, that mentions detainees are being shuffled from detention center to detention center to avoid allowing them to have their day in court. The burden of proof is on you because you said it was extensive. I acknowledge there is some coverage but it is not extensive and it is not talking about the specific abuses that I am mentioning.

All of those news outlets that you cite are treating the issue as if it is the exception because they are still saying Trump is deporting illegals. My assertion is that these are legal and documented people that are being denied their habeas corpus rights. So go ahead show me one article that has thousands upon thousands of detainees being shuffled from detention center to detention center only days away from having there court hearing.

You seem to be another one of these deniers as to the egregious rights violations that are going on.

I wouldn't particularly say 'extensive coverage'. It's mostly the publications sitting on the far left side of things (by American standards). Publications closer to the center tend to downplay the stories immensely (focusing on finding a way to highlight that they're illegal, theorizing about crimes they did, ignoring the fundamental rights of the country etc) and anything on the right is either outright ignoring it or calling it a good thing.

Most of the coverage I've seen come out of these stories has been on social media which bubble up some of the local news stations and papers.
