Probably the only thing holding the reins on AI takeover is the lack of legislative coverage. Once the AI user is not held responsible for the AI's actions, (and let's face it, this is the likely outcome. It's not like politicians are going to decide in favor of regular people) then we are going to have a new social class of completely useless people.

What does the government plan to do with them? Kill them off? Because if they leave them to die, they will revolt.
