I'm glad you included the mind. It is so often forgotten, very often the most by people who suffer from RSI, who prefer to acknowledge physical problems over mental problems. After all, a physical problem is something hat's broken and can be fixed. A mental problem is, like, that you're nuts! Right? Well, of course not, but it still feels that way.
More anecdotal evidence here: I believe that many cases of RSI are in fact simply the first manifestations of a burnout. Not all, I bet, but many. If your RSI may be stress related, consider this possibility and discuss it with your doctor.
