AI didn't conquer the US economy. What conquered the US economy is a small number of large companies. If Apple started rolling out an iTurd app, and Google started offering gTurd, and Amazon started shipping free turds to everyone's doorstep, and so on, then we would be talking about how turds have conquered the US economy. The economy has become divorced from any pretense of meeting actual consumer needs. The suppliers are creating their own demand.
