I used stty to make interrupt ktrl-k, then configured the terminal app to make copy/paste ctrl-c/ctrl-v. I use copy/paste more than I use interrupt. I hated MacOS keyboard shortcuts at first, but cmd-c/cmd-v do work around this problem.
