Nanoseconds behind the US, but much further behind Taiwan?

I had figured the fab stuff was about equal, but China doesn't currently have EUV lithography, which for now only comes from Holland.

Denying technology to China always has the same result though. They just go and build it themselves.


Or even worse leapfrog to a different better tech

IIRC, they were investing on research around free electron lasers as an EUV light source.

Oh yeah, executives in different industries tell the same thing about their industry (see AI). Fund us.
