For some reason Ulrich Drepper has an article on the German language Wikipedia, but it's strangely missing on the English language version. Other developers notable for similar reasons do have articles (Theo de Raadt comes to mind).

In my admittedly limited experience, `rules' are often exploited to change (or expunge) articles with anything that remotely challenges the opinions of that select cabal of `veteran' editors.
