How about just wishing that the behaviors didn't happen?




I see wishing people weren't the way they are is a bit more... intrusive? than just wishing LLMs were slept on. Like if you had a genie in a bottle the less evil wish would be for LLMs to not have been developed.

Thoughts and prayers.

If we wish upon a star, why whish against technology instead of against bothersome things people do with it?

Because one of those wishes has a chance of being acted upon, and the other doesn't.

Give that the technology is virtually always unstoppable and the behavior policing is on the rise in places such as UK, it seems that people might be wrong as to which of those two is actionable.
