I think you would struggle to find a style guide that does not say to write an abbreviation or acronym in full the first time one uses it in a piece.

Google exists for finding those too.

is commenting on HN your job? neither is that guy. None of us here signed any style guide and get paid for sharing insight so it's more like "take it or leave it"

The sad comment here is the one that believes proper, legible, clear writing is for work only.

No it's more like everyone is free to share knowledge however they want or not share at all and so we should be thankful for knowledge not look gift horse in the mouth and police writing style

You have conflated "policing" with "commenting", at least for those you disagree with, thus contradicting your point. If I had the power to police such things I would but I can't, I can only comment and freely share knowledge on clear writing. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth ;-)

HN has some commenting rules and next time check them before trying to enforce some rule that don't exist

Yours is not a gift horse, you did not give any insight to us and you make others less likely to give insight so it is a net harm to community

Never said I support allowing to write any random stuff. Literal nazi is way worse than writing style nazi but both are not welcome.
