The first looks for incremental. All too often, it is easy to think you have to redefine the entire product. But by the time you get your new definition, the old one has moved on. And then it is a tree to feature parity.
The second helps move the grounding off where you are. Sometimes you do want to rebuild that ship as it is moving.
